You will assess financial reporting risks, evaluate internal controls, review statements and workpapers, and communicate findings to managers and partners while maintaining client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute audit engagements for privately held businesses, nonprofit organizations, and other clients.
• Perform risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and develop appropriate audit procedures.
• Review financial statements, general ledgers, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers in accordance with applicable auditing and accounting standards.
• Identify audit findings, internal control deficiencies, and potential accounting issues.
• Research and apply relevant accounting principles under U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and client deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to managers, partners, and client personnel.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate requests for information throughout the audit process.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and related disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and quality control procedures.
