Job summary

UHY is seeking an Audit Senior Accountant in New York to perform and lead procedures for attestation engagements in accordance with accounting standards. The role includes leading client engagements, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating with internal leadership to deliver high‑quality work.

You will supervise audit staff, mentor team members, and manage engagements from planning through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm.
• CPA licensure or progress toward CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead complex audit procedures, including substantive and control testing.
• Review workpapers and audit evidence for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and clients to develop audit plans.
• Identify key risk areas and allocate resources accordingly.
