Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Associate to join a locally owned, award-winning CPA firm in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on planning, executing, and supervising audits for diverse clients, leveraging ProSystemfx Engagement and PPC.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in public accounting, strong technical auditing knowledge, and leadership skills to mentor junior staff while upholding high ethical standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting/auditing experience.
• Proficiency with ProSystem fx Engagement and PPC.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and techniques.
• Experience in employee benefit plan auditing is desirable.
• Proven leadership and ability to supervise junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing audits in accordance with professional standards.
• Evaluating internal controls, proposing enhancements, and managing risk.
• Conducting thorough financial statement reviews and analysis.
• Collaborating with team members to complete audit procedures and discuss issues identified.
• Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to management.
• Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff.
• Staying current with industry trends, new audit regulations, and accounting standards.
• Utilizing ProSystemfx Engagement and PPC for auditing tasks.
• Participating in the improvement of audit processes and methodologies.
