Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join the Affordable Housing Assurance practice in the Columbus, OH area. You will take a lead role in engagement management, review letters and confirmations, and collaborate directly with clients on request lists and audits.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2+ years of progressive audit experience, and preferably a CPA or EA credential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
2+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience.
CPA or EA credentialing preferred.

Responsibilities

Take a lead role in engagement management through internal communication and tracking engagement status
Review engagement letters prepared by Associates
Review confirmations (includes debt, syndicators, etc.)
Communicate directly with clients regarding request lists and confirmations
Review or perform compliance testing for more difficult audits (HUD, RD, NFP)
Prepare files for audit (Bring in TBs, GLs, bank statements, and other supporting documents)
Prepare 10%, contractor and owner certifications, and DCRs
Review financial statement changes and draft and AJEs, RJEs, ATBs
Review or prepare final financial statements and lockdown files
Actively participate in firm initiatives and mentor Associates and interns
