Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior Audit Consultant in Houston, TX. The role involves delivering advisory and audit support with a focus on SEC reporting and financial analysis. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification preferred, and at least 3 years of public accounting experience. The position requires advanced Excel skills and strong communication abilities, with a compensation range of $100,000 – $110,000 per year plus bonus. This is an in-office role, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience, ideally at a Big Four or large CPA firm.
• Certification: CPA preferred.
• Strong exposure to SEC reporting, technical accounting, internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Support annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Assist with SEC reporting requirements and technical accounting research.
• Contribute to financial and operational audits, and consolidated reporting.
• Support acquisition, capital planning, and marketing performance analysis.
• Assist with internal control documentation and month-end close enhancements.
