A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant in Washington, DC, to support audit, financial reporting, and SEC reporting initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with finance teams on technical accounting and financial analysis. The role requires 3+ years of public accounting experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience at a CPA firm, ideally Big Four.
• Strong exposure to SEC reporting and technical accounting.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required.
• Client‑focused professional with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and complex financial models.
• Assist with SEC reporting deliverables and technical accounting analysis.
• Support financial and operational audits and consolidated reporting.
• Perform deal analysis and capital planning for business decisions.
• Assist with internal control documentation and financial systems implementations.
