Massey Services is seeking a Director of Tax and Compliance to lead audit oversight, strengthen internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization. The role partners with external auditors, tax professionals, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting and control improvements.

The position emphasizes staff development, coaching, and technical growth, with a focus on integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement in all financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CIA/CISA preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting, internal audit, compliance, financial reporting, or corporate accounting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage annual external financial statement audits and internal audits.
• Serve as primary liaison among external auditors, consultants, tax professionals, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor GAAP compliance, policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
• Track audit findings and management action plans, ensuring timely remediation.
• Assist with compliance reporting and regulatory examinations as needed.
