Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related field obtained or in progress is preferred.
• Experience (1-4 years) in public accounting, internal audit, or other field that provides needed analytical experience.
• Desire to pursue a certification such as Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the staff and manager with the preparation of engagement workpapers.
• Completing detailed workpaper documentation in accordance with firm and industry standards.
• Completing engagement risk assessments considering history with the client or industry.
• Working directly with clients to complete the engagement.
• Leading the planning and risk assessment process including meetings and interviews with clients.
• Drafting financial statements including cash flows and footnote disclosures when requested by client.
• Ensuring the entire engagement is completed within the assigned timeline.
• Providing training to less experienced staff and seniors.
• Adhering to all relevant information security policies and procedures.
