Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related field obtained or in progress is preferred.
Experience (1-4 years) in public accounting, internal audit, or other field that provides needed analytical experience.
Desire to pursue a certification such as Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor is preferred.
Responsibilities
Assisting the staff and manager with the preparation of engagement workpapers.
Completing detailed workpaper documentation in accordance with firm and industry standards.
Completing engagement risk assessments considering history with the client or industry.
Working directly with clients to complete the engagement.
Leading the planning and risk assessment process including meetings and interviews with clients.
Drafting financial statements including cash flows and footnote disclosures when requested by client.
Ensuring the entire engagement is completed within the assigned timeline.
Providing training to less experienced staff and seniors.
Adhering to all relevant information security policies and procedures.
