KBF Advisory seeks a Senior Associate to join our Audit & Advisory Services team in a hybrid role based in Irvine, CA. The position requires CPA exam eligibility, a Bachelor's degree, and 2+ years of audit experience, with GAAP knowledge and supervisory capabilities.

The role offers exposure to a variety of client projects and a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $124,000, with benefits and growth opportunities within a small-firm atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• Must have completed the CPA exam credit hours to sit for the CPA exam.

Responsibilities

• Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements by reviewing, analyzing, and testing financial data to understand client processes and accounting practices.
• Communicate with clients to develop and maintain strong relationships and ensure efficient information flow to the audit team.
• Proactively manage audit deadlines to ensure timely delivery in line with auditing standards and client expectations.
• Supervise Audit Associates and Interns with coaching and timely feedback on engagements.
• Collaborate with Partners, Managers, and teams regarding status, findings, timelines, issues, tasks, and budgets.
• Stay current with auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry knowledge.
• Review and analyze audit engagements using auditing tools and software.
