Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Senior Audit Associate for its Assurance team to deliver high-quality audits for technology and manufacturing clients. You will apply technical expertise to perform procedures, prepare work papers, and compile financial statements while building strong client relationships.

This role offers growth within a forward-thinking, collaborative firm. The position requires a 4-year accounting degree, CPA preferred, and 3–5 years in public accounting, with Excel and CaseWare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting.
• Developed specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology.
• Strong Excel and CaseWare experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits accurately and skillfully.
• Prepare audit work papers and adjust trial balances.
• Utilize time management to plan and schedule client engagements.
• Assemble trial balances and compile financial statements into reports.
• Communicate the accuracy of financial statements to clients and colleagues.
• Foster relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Travel to client sites as needed.

Aprio is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our Technology practice and deliver high-quality audit engagements for clients in the technology and manufacturing sectors. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to perform audit procedures, prepare work papers, and compile financial statements while fostering strong client and colleague relationships. You will bring a detail-oriented, client-focused approach to managing multiple engagements with professionalism and accuracy. Position Responsibilities:

• Accurately and skillfully performing audits
• Preparing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
• Utilizing time management to plan and schedule client engagements
• Assembling trial balances and compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented
• Effectively communicating the accuracy of financial statements and other financial information to clients and co-workers
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
• Traveling to some to client sites

Qualifications:

• 4 year bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Master’s degree preferred
• Licensed CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
• Developed specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology
• Understanding and applying Excel skills
• Successfully using Case ware or other audit software
• Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Working effectively and personably within a team

$82,000 - $142,500 a year

The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
