Job summary

You will oversee day-to-day audit fieldwork, engage directly with clients, and contribute to the development of junior staff. The position requires 2+ years of public accounting audit experience and a CPA or progress toward CPA.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards and financial statement prep.
• Experience owning audit sections and communicating directly with clients.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit areas from planning and risk assessment through fieldwork and completion.
• Perform substantive testing, evaluate internal controls, and document conclusions.
• Prepare and review workpapers, financial statements, and disclosures.
• Coordinate client requests, resolve questions, and update managers on progress.
• Guide junior associates and provide practical feedback on their work.
• Identify accounting issues and research guidance with engagement leadership.

What you will do

What you bring
