Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Senior Audit Associate in Atlanta, GA to join a high-growth advisory firm. You will work with Fortune 1000 and large-cap clients on complex accounting, finance, and business transformation initiatives, offering accelerated career growth beyond traditional public accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 4 years external audit experience with Big Four or nationally recognized firm.
• Minimum 3 busy seasons as Senior Audit Associate/Senior Auditor/Senior Associate.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and FASB standards.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables; financial modeling a plus.
• Lead accounting and financial reporting projects for Fortune 1000/large-cap clients from planning to execution.
• Support IPO readiness, M&A, carve-outs, technical accounting, and reporting transformations.
• Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, Finance Directors, and executives to solve complex accounting challenges.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reporting deliverables ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Participate in client presentations, business development, recruiting, and internal leadership programs.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–60% within the assigned market and client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting projects from planning through execution.
