Job summary

Solotech is seeking an Audio Specialist to be a technical expert for pro audio, wireless tech and audio networking. You will support design, logistics and execution of audio projects, collaborating with project managers and clients.

The role includes building RF/control racks, consulting on proposals, and ensuring high quality wireless systems while aiding warehouse event prep and staff training.

Qualifications

• Formal education in sound or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in live sound, engineering, or production.
• Experience with rental equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert on pro audio equipment with emphasis on com systems and wireless tech.
• Oversee build of control racks and RF systems.
• Consult on RFP/RFQ submissions when needed.
• Propose solutions within Solotech standards for audio projects.
• Maintain inventory preparation lists in the R2 system with coordinators.
• Oversee quality control for wireless systems and related products.
• Collaborate with production techs during event prep and execution.
