Qualifications

• At least three years of experience practicing law.
• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar.
• Prior legal aid or other relevant supervision experience.
• Superior skills in case analysis, research, and writing.
• Demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly, persuasively, and concisely.
• Self-motivated, diligent, and able to meet strict deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to motivate and work harmoniously with others.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of clients eligible under the Older Americans Act.
• Supervise two attorneys and two paralegals assigned to the OAA Project and two attorneys and one paralegal for the Milwaukee Benefits Unit.
• Provide training and technical assistance to Elder Benefit Specialists.
• Manage the OAA Project’s budget and grant reporting requirements.
