Job summary

The Insurance Group in Tennessee seeks an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to manage moderate-to-high exposure civil litigation from inception to resolution, working closely with claims professionals and insured clients to develop effective litigation strategies and achieve cost-efficient outcomes.

You will conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, provide strong courtroom advocacy, and mentor junior staff while maintaining active bar admission and a focus on

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Bar admission in good standing is required.
• Trial experience is preferred.
• Experience with motions, depositions, hearings, mediations, or arbitrations.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and legal research skills.
• Ability to independently manage a complex caseload.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Georgia Bar admission is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex civil litigation matters from inception through dismissal, settlement, arbitration, or trial.

• Handle motion practice and trial preparation.
• Independently conduct trials when appropriate.

• Conduct legal research and provide strong courtroom advocacy.
• Mentor less experienced attorneys and support staff.
