Role Description

The Senior Attorney role is a full-time, on-site position located in Coral Gables, FL. This role involves managing a portfolio of cases, providing strategic legal advice to clients, and overseeing all phases of litigation and dispute resolution. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, contracts, and policies, and participating in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings. The Senior Attorney will mentor junior team members, collaborate with colleagues on case strategy, and engage with clients to assess risks, develop solutions, and ensure high-quality legal service. The individual in this role is expected to handle complex labor and employment matters and contribute to firm development and client relations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with significant experience handling complex matters and providing Legal Advice.


• Demonstrated expertise in Labor and Employment Law, including counseling clients on compliance, policies, and workplace disputes.


• Advanced Research skills for case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.


• Proven Negotiation abilities in settlements, contracts, and dispute resolution settings.


• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.


• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm or similar professional environment.


• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.


• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with a diverse team.


• Experience supervising or mentoring junior attorneys or staff is highly beneficial.
