EY is seeking an experienced Attack Surface Validation & Exposure Engineer to advance vulnerability discovery and exposure assessment across EY’s digital landscape. You will drive attack-path discovery, scalable detection pipelines, and safe exploitation workflows while collaborating with Red Team and Threat Intelligence teams to reduce risk and enable secure business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum combined 8 years in vulnerability management, exposure management, offensive security, and security engineering.
• Experience analyzing vulnerability and security posture data.
• Deep understanding of attack paths, misconfigurations, and control failures that lead to risk.
• Proven ability to build scalable solutions for vulnerability and exposure challenges.
• Experience operating at a strategic level with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design automated attack-path discovery and validation capabilities.
• Build scalable vulnerability detection and verification pipelines.
• Develop controlled exploitation and exploit-chaining workflows to demonstrate outcomes.
• Operationalize continuous offensive validation with autonomous testing routines.
• Fuse Vulnerability Intelligence and Cyber Threat Intelligence into detection and prioritization.
• Produce reproducible evidence and remediation recommendations for remediation teams.
• Partner with Red Team, Exposure Assessment, Threat Detection, and VM stakeholders.
