Job summary

eScience & Technology Solutions, Inc. (eSTS) seeks a VoICE Systems Engineer to support the FAA in modernizing air traffic control voice communications.

The role requires deep expertise in ATC voice systems, switches, interfaces, and networking to help plan and implement full lifecycle solutions. You will develop system requirements, conduct market research, participate in source selection, and contribute to verification, validation, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of ATC experience.
• Knowledge of FAA NAS Voice Communications, NAS voice switches, and interfaces.
• Experience with ATC voice switch trunks and networking.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the FAA in modernizing air traffic control voice communications and related systems.
• Develop system requirements, perform market research, and participate in source selection.
• Conduct system verification and validation planning and execution.
• Contribute to system implementation and full lifecycle management for NAS and support systems.
• Review and prepare engineering analyses and technical documentation.
• Analyze, design, develop, implement and test software related to NAS requirements.
