Responsibilities

• Manage and direct Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower and RAPCON functions with oversight of staffing, resources, budget and equipment.
• Plan multi-year tasks for ATC personnel and negotiate agreements with FAA facilities, airports, and military units.
• Direct development and review of instrument approaches and departure procedures to meet local needs; ensure TERPS are reviewed.
• Forecast staffing needs and plan budgets to support ATC operations and upgrades to ATC facilities.
• Act as the focal point for tactical equipment use (e.g., mobile tower, MPN-14k radar) to deliver required ATC service.
