Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS seeks an Anti-Submarine Warfare Technical Trainer to assess and train on ASW suites aboard US Navy ships. The role requires graduate ASW A and C schools, 20 years of naval shipboard experience, and an active Secret clearance.

You will brief ship wardrooms and senior leadership on material and operational capabilities in a sensitive environment. Based in Mayport, FL, the position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Graduate ASW A and C schools.
• 20 years of naval shipboard experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Broad experience in shipboard systems and material condition assessment.
• Experience in providing training and assessments at senior technician level (E8-E9) and ship's wardrooms.
• Recent experience conducting technical briefs for shipboard managers/technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct material and operational assessments of the ASW suite onboard US Navy Ships.
• Train, assess, and certify Sailors in the maintenance and operation of the ASW suite.
• Provide written and verbal feedback to Senior ship leadership on the material assessment and operational capability of the ASW suite.
