Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is expanding its Private Equity Performance Improvement – CFO Services team and seeks a PEPI CFO Services Associate in the United States. Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), a leading independent global professional services firm, is expanding its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) – CFO Services team in various locations throughout the United States. Position: PEPI CFO Services Associate

Professional Experience

• Solid understanding of finance and accounting, with a preference for CPAs.
• Experience structuring work plans and managing time‑sensitive projects through completion.
• Developing findings and making strategic recommendations.
• Strong financial modeling and financial statement analysis; 13‑week cash‑flow modeling preferred; experience with Tableau and think‑cell software is a plus.
• Treasury / cash management experience is a strong plus.
• Systems implementation experience is a plus.

• Strong expertise with data and analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau.
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short or immediate notice.

The salary range for this role is $120,000–$160,000 annually, depending on education, experience, skills and geography. A&M also offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Salary details are available upon request.
