Position Summary

The Senior Associate Wealth Advisor role is an exciting opportunity to work with an advisory team dedicated to designing, building, and protecting the financial dreams of individuals and families. This position involves partnering with Senior Wealth Advisors to maintain and enhance client relationships through active participation in the financial planning process. Responsibilities include creating and implementing strategies in retirement, risk management, tax, estate, and investment planning.

Position Summary

The Senior Associate Wealth Advisor role is an exciting opportunity to work with an advisory team dedicated to designing, building, and protecting the financial dreams of individuals and families. This position involves partnering with Senior Wealth Advisors to maintain and enhance client relationships through active participation in the financial planning process. Responsibilities include creating and implementing strategies in retirement, risk management, tax, estate, and investment planning.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Wealth Advisors on large, complicated clients.
  • Create, edit, and present financial plans through eMoney and other planning software.
  • Mastery of technology stack including CRM, portfolio accounting system and custodian websites.
  • Ability to independently lead client communications and interactions through emails, calls, and client presentations.
  • Lead the development of financial planning recommendations to clients.
  • Identify advanced planning opportunities and develop internal best practices.
  • Ability to model and resolve complex financial questions and client situations.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for client needs and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest level of client service.
  • Diligent recording of client communication and information within client relationship management platform.
  • Create a personalized Investment Policy Statement (IPS) and holistic investment strategy for each client.
  • Collaborate with Client Service and the billing department to ensure compliance.
  • Engage in advisory team business planning efforts and actively support the firm’s strategic priorities.
  • Eventually, path to serve as primary advisor for a select number of clients.
  • Manage individual and team prospect pipeline, including the onboarding of new clients.
  • Ability to business develop independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet with clients in person. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Professional certification CFP, CFA or CPA/ PFS
  • Six-plus years of direct client-facing experience
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies, risk management, tax planning, and estate planning
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills: with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients
  • Team-orientated approach
  • Knowledge of financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools for modeling and analysis, as well as CRM tools
  • Experience in managing prospect pipelines and onboarding new clients

This is an Exempt role. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $100,000 - $110,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
