San Francisco, California
Jordan Park provides investment management and financial advice to a distinct community of individuals, families, and institutions. Our mission is to enhance lives and legacies.
This software development role sits within the Investment Strategy team, responsible for top‑down portfolio construction and asset allocation, macroeconomic and capital markets research, and portfolio implementation and rebalancing using our proprietary client portfolio management systems and tools. These tools are used to rebalance portfolios, generate portfolio analytics, and monitor portfolios.
The Senior (VP) will use their depth of experience in software engineering and design to enhance existing systems, add new functionality, and solve challenging future problems. The role includes maintaining and upgrading application code and web UI, balancing responsiveness and reliability.
Ownership of the systems is expected, including hands‑on technical work, planning for large‑scale expansion and integration to create the next‑generation system. The role also involves interfacing with third parties, collaborating with internal business groups, and mentoring and coaching junior team members.
You are excited to work on a small fast‑moving team that continuously builds new products and features while supporting daily investment processes critical to the firm’s investment platform and operations. You are interested in working throughout the stack, placing equal importance on front‑end and back‑end development projects. You exhibit an ownership mentality, entrepreneurial attitude, and the knowledge and experience needed to design and build highly robust and flexible systems. You take a pragmatic approach, are self‑directed, collaborate closely with peers and junior members, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience, job‑related skills, education, and other organizational factors. Compensation also includes discretionary year‑end bonus and perks.
