The Senior Associate will work alongside experienced investment professionals to evaluate new credit opportunities and manage the ongoing performance of Monroe Capital's healthcare-focused private credit fund investments.Key responsibilities include:- Analyzing new private credit investment opportunities through in-depth financial modeling and sector research- Preparing comprehensive investment committee memoranda and credit recommendations- Interfacing with investment banks, due diligence providers, and management teams throughout the deal process- Reviewing and negotiating legal documentation for credit facilities- Managing and monitoring syndicated loan portfolios, tracking covenant compliance and portfolio performance- Developing and maintaining deep expertise in healthcare sector dynamics, regulatory trends, and competitive positioningThe ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in leveraged finance, investment banking, credit research, principal investing, or management consulting.
