Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Sr Associate Test Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable testing frameworks across distributed systems and cloud SaaS platforms.

Write robust automation in Java and TypeScript, integrate tools with Git and CI/CD (Jenkins, Harness), and containerize tests with Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with QE, SRE/DevOps, and development teams to deliver tooling solutions that accelerate quality and delivery in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Tools development.
• Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on tooling and automation.
• Experience extending and customizing open-source testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
• Experience integrating testing tools with Jira, Qmetry, ReportPortal, Allure, Grafana, Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube.

Sr Associate Test Engineer - Test Automation & Tools Development
We are seeking a highly skilled Testing Tools Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain
advanced testing frameworks and automation tools. This role focuses on building scalable, reusable, and
integrated testing infrastructure that supports functional, performance, and security testing across diverse
platforms and environments.

Key Responsibilities

Tool Development & Framework Design

• Develop reusable libraries, plugins, and CLI tools to support test execution, reporting, and integration
  with CI/CD pipelines.
• Build scalable test harnesses for distributed systems, microservices, mobile native and cloud SaaS
  applications.

Automation & Scripting

• Write robust, maintainable code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript to automate test workflows.
• Integrate tools with version control systems (Git), CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, Harness), and artifact repositories

DevOps & Infrastructure Integration

• Containerize tools using Docker and orchestrate test environments using Kubernetes.

Collaboration & Enablement

• Partner with QE, SRE/DevOps, and development teams to understand testing pain points and deliver
  tooling solutions.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Tools development

  o CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube
  o Device Farms: BrowserStack, LambdaTest for cross-platform and mobile testing
• Strong command of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, along with experience inpublish-subscribe messaging systems like Kafka.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, & event-driven or asynchronousarchitectures.
• Well-versed in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies, with a focus on iterative development andcontinuous delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively incross-functional teams.
