Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Supply Chain: Procurement & Sourcing, open to all U.S. locations. You will lead and deliver project work streams, partnering with private equity teams to design and implement procurement solutions.

The role requires 4–7+ years in consulting or industry, experience with advisory at top-tier firms, MBA preferred, and willingness to travel up to 80%. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $170,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of consulting or industry experience.
• Prior advisory experience at a top-tier strategy firm or Big-4 consultancy (required).
• Travel up to 80% capacity.
• Preference for roles within sourcing and procurement functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver project work streams, working closely with private equity teams to design and implement creative business solutions.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of a client’s procurement organization and strategic sourcing capabilities.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with growth and financial goals.
• Lead supplier identification, approval, contract and pricing negotiations, and vendor relations.
• Develop implementation plans to drive procurement and sourcing initiatives.
• Conduct analysis as required by the scope of projects.
