About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Associate, Strategic Finance who will be a pivotal member of Pagaya’s growing team. You will bring strong modeling and analytical skills in order to become a strategic partner to the Business and the Head of Strategic Finance. You will be part of a fully integrated Strategic Finance team with multiple responsibilities across the entire business. We are looking for someone who enjoys being challenged and will thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. You will work directly with leaders across Pagaya’s growing operating segments. You will be an integral part of Pagaya’s growth strategy and enable business leaders to scale our technology, expand existing markets, and build new strategies

Responsibilities

• Help maintain our 3-statement corporate forecasting model
• Compile assumptions by working with colleagues across the business to drive our integrated revenue, expense, balance sheet, & cash flow forecasting models
• Run scenarios & sensitivity analyses to provide management with insights to inform their decision making process
• Create dashboards in our FP&A system (Pigment) tracking key financial & operational KPIs to be used by executives in strategic decision making
• Help develop and implement the annual business plan, working closely with the entire leadership team across Pagaya’s verticals to monitor budget vs actuals
• Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials (dashboards, decks, models, etc.) that effectively communicate business performance, financial drivers, risks, and opportunities to leadership and external stakeholders
• Work cross-functionally to assess and manage financial performance and to streamline implementation of initiatives, processes, and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Public Accounting, Valuation Services, Transaction Advisory or other relevant fields with minimum 1-2 years in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Corporate Finance
• Strong financial modeling skills including P&L, BS & CF
• Experience developing, maintaining and enhancing complex driver-based revenue and expense models preferably using an FP&A system
• Solid understanding of both finance and accounting concepts
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of inputs used in forecasting
• Ability to organize and analyze data sets and present in an understandable manner
• Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office & Google Suite programs
• Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
• Motivated, self-starter, ability to multi-task, and detail-oriented
• Team player with strong communication skills

The pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience.

Pay ranges for candidates working in locations other than New York may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

Compensation Range for New York Based Hires $115,000 — $140,000 USD
