We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr. Quality Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions through efficient QA strategies, automation, and collaboration. You will play a critical role in defining quality standards, leading test efforts across projects, and ensuring smooth and timely delivery of enterprise-level applications.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Manage QA efforts across multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
  2. Define and promote best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  3. Plan, design, and execute test strategies including functional, regression, system integration, load, and performance testing.
  4. Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, MABL, or similar.
  5. Review and validate test coverage and test results to ensure quality delivery.
  6. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  7. Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
  8. Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain defect logs.
  9. Continuously improve testing strategies through automation, process enhancements, and emerging testing methodologies.
  10. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and share knowledge across QA and development teams.
What You’ll Bring:
  1. Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium/WebDriver, MABL, BDD/TDD).
  2. Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, PractiTest).
  3. Strong knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI, etc.
  4. Proficient in developing and executing test cases in both open-source and proprietary frameworks.
  5. Familiarity with cloud, mainframe, distributed, and highly integrated systems.
  6. Solid understanding of Agile, Kanban, and Iterative methodologies.
  7. Skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL, SOQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) for data validation and querying.

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  2. 5–7 years of experience in software testing or technology support roles.
  3. Proven ability to manage QA processes in a multi-project environment.
  4. Experience in Life Insurance, Annuity, and/or Wealth Management industries is a strong plus.
  5. Experience working with Salesforce and/or CRM systems is advantageous.
  6. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Demonstrated leadership in test planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
  8. Experience in facilitating Root Cause Analysis and retrospective sessions.
  9. Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
  10. Industry-standard QA or Cloud-related certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are an added advantage.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $85,000-$145,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and may participate in incentive programs.
