Advocates Legal Recruiting is recruiting for a Speciality and Structured Finance Mid/Senior Associate in New York. The role involves advising borrowers and lenders on secured financings with exposure to complex collateral structures and tailored credit products.

You will draft and negotiate core finance documents and coordinate with partners on deal execution, with a strong emphasis on precision and substantive credit work. A deep background in receivables or structured finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with secured financings and structured transactions.
• Experience representing borrowers, lenders, or both.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security agreements, and related documents.
• Advise on secured balance sheet financings and structured credit transactions.
• Handle bond and note offerings, indentures, and disclosure materials.
• Collaborate directly with partners and clients on deal execution.
