Description du poste

Company Overview

Neuberger Specialty Finance is one of the fastest-growing groups within Neuberger Alternatives, with approximately $4.5 billion in AUM and counting. Based in Silicon Valley, the team sits at the heart of one of the world's most dynamic innovation ecosystems — giving us a front-row seat to the founders, technologies, and financial platforms shaping the future. The team focuses on asset-based finance ("ABF") — investing in cashflow-producing financial and hard assets as well as heavily involved in all things venture debt. In addition to our core ABF investing, the team also runs its own venture arm, allowing us to engage with innovative companies not just as a credit partner, but as an equity investor in the businesses building the next generation of financial infrastructure (AI, Robotics, etc). You'll join a tight-knit, high-caliber 16-person investment team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where analysts get real ownership over deals from underwriting through closing.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain cashflow, collateral, and structuring models that directly inform investment decisions

  • Conduct relative value and pricing analysis across ABS/ABF deals and portfolio positions

  • Prepare investment memos and materials presented directly to the investment committee

  • Track market data, comparable transactions, and deal flow across the broader ABF landscape — including insights sourced from our Silicon Valley network and venture arm

  • Partner with legal, risk, operations, and originators/sponsors through deal execution and closing

  • Contribute to ongoing portfolio surveillance and reporting

Required Qualifications:

  • STEM degree required

  • 1–10 years of experience at a top-tier buy-side or sell-side firm in structured credit or private credit

Applicants must be authorized and have the right to work in the country where the role is located without the need for current or future sponsorship.
