Mercer (US) LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the New York, NY office (a telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies):

Senior Associate - Senior Talent Strategy Consultant I

We will count on you to:

  1. Provide advice to a wide range of clients, helping them develop HR programs, talent practices, performance management processes, and organizational designs that motivate and empower leaders and employees to deliver their best work.
  2. Brainstorm and determine analytic approaches and project plans for prospects and clients across job architecture, broad-based compensation, and other projects.
  3. Interpret client and market data to craft insights and communicate implications to clients.
  4. Oversee and guide junior colleagues in designing solutions such as job architecture and salary structure design.
  5. Plan and manage the execution of large, complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and appropriate scope based on analysis findings.
  6. Lead in structuring and reviewing client-ready presentations and reports.
  7. Answer client questions regarding Mercer project methodology.
  8. Facilitate client meetings independently and act as a trusted advisor.
  9. Delegate tasks to junior colleagues and review their output for quality and alignment.

What you need to have:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Psychology, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related field.
  2. Three (3) years of experience in designing and implementing job architectures, building client-ready reports, variance analysis for compensation benchmarking, designing salary structures, and employing project management tools.
  3. Experience in peer reviewing analysis and explaining results to clients.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $132,500 - $207,000 per year. The actual offer will depend on experience, skills, location, and other factors. Additional performance-based incentives may apply.
