Job description

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a senior lawyer with 5+ years of Project Finance experience to join as a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel. The candidate must have strong competence in drafting and negotiating principal financing documentation. A background in project finance within the renewable energy sector is preferred. Experience reviewing project documentation is also advantageous. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects in renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, and energy transition technologies.

This position may be located in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C. Please indicate your office(s) of interest in your application. A remote position may be available for select markets. The full-time base salary ranges from $365,000 to $450,000 depending on location. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and depend on individual and firm performance.

Key Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience as a projects finance lawyer.
2. JD from a top-tier law school.
3. Active Bar in the state where the position is located.
4. Experience drafting and negotiating principal financing documentation.
5. Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
6. Experience reviewing project documentation preferred.
7. Strong academic credentials.
