Position Summary:

Our Kansas City facility specializes in Clinical Delivery Services and Biologics Analytical Services, providing a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development to analytical testing and manufacturing. This site is a Center-of-Excellence for biologics analytical services, with over 25 years of experience in this field.

The Role:

The Senior Associate Scientist I will be responsible for late-stage transfer and validation activities under cGMP regulations for biologics product development, release, and stability studies. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with core hours between 8 am and 4 pm.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute laboratory testing using techniques such as compendial assays, electrophoresis, chromatography, UV-VIS, cell-based potency methods, ELISA, flow cytometry, etc.
2. Follow SOPs meticulously and document results accurately to ensure regulatory compliance.
3. Train on 1-2 methods and participate in method evaluation, transfer, and validation activities under cGMP.
4. Apply scientific concepts to testing activities and perform peer reviews of documentation.
5. Adhere to safety and quality policies in the laboratory.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field with at least two years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree without experience.
• Hands-on or theoretical knowledge of techniques listed above.
• Understanding of scientific principles related to biology, chemistry, or biochemistry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interpret instructions.
• Physical ability to perform lab activities and lift up to 40 pounds.
