We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Senior Associate Scientist to join our Bioassay Team within the Therapeutic Proteins Department. You will play a critical role in engineering cell lines, developing in vitro cell-based assays, and executing high throughput bioassay screens to identify potential oncology drug candidates.
As a Senior Associate Scientist in the Bioassay Team, a typical day might include:
- Culturing immortalized cell lines and primary T cells
- Conducting lentiviral production and transduction of cell lines or primary human T cells to express genes of interest
- Performing CRISPR gene editing in human cell lines
- Performing bioassay development and/or optimization in cell lines and/or primary cells (luciferase reporter, viability/cytotoxicity, and/or cytokine release assays)
- Running high throughput cell-based screens to identify candidate therapeutic antibodies, TCRs, or CARs
- Conducting cell binding screens via flow cytometry
- Analyzing data, preparing summaries, and presenting at cross-functional meetings

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS and 3+ years of relevant lab experience. We need someone with a background in immunology; experience with T cell biology and antigen presentation is a plus. Must have experience with therapeutic antibody screening in an industry setting. Experience with in vitro cell-based assay development and engineering mammalian cells is required. Flow cytometry experience including data acquisition and analysis is strongly preferred.
