Working with deans, chairs, and campus partners, the Associate Provost leads initiatives aligned with UWA’s strategic plan and regional mission, promoting excellence, integrity, and collaboration across the university.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience leading academic initiatives across multiple units.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, academic, and operational support to the Provost in advancing the priorities of Academic Affairs.
• Coordinate planning and implementation of assigned academic initiatives and cross-unit efforts.
• Demonstrate proactive leadership by identifying needs and ensuring timely follow-through.
• Provide leadership for Academic Affairs functions, programs, and services.
• Support faculty onboarding, professional development, and mentoring.
• Advance student access and success by strengthening academic pathways.
