Job summary

Alcon in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a Senior Associate Project Manager to coordinate defined projects and workstreams, applying core PM practices with guidance. You will establish reliable plans, manage schedules, costs, risks, and decisions, and report progress to leadership.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated project or workstream plan with milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and resource assumptions.
• Drive routine execution cadence, action closure, and schedule updates with cross-functional partners.
• Analyze variances and coordinate recovery actions with guidance from senior PM or project leadership.
• Facilitate risk and issue reviews and maintain mitigation, contingency, decision, and change records.
• Maintain forecasts, actuals, accrual inputs, and resource information; identify and explain variances.
• Prepare concise status and governance materials that clearly identify decisions required and execution impacts.
• Facilitate focused team meetings and planning sessions.
• Build credibility through reliable follow-through, transparent communication, and accurate project data.
• Apply PM standards and contribute lessons learned and process improvements.
