Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Associate Project Manager to join the Global Capital Project Management team in Thousand Oaks. The role supports and leads high-priority projects within the Site Master Plan, preparing recommendations for senior management and developing key reports.

You will drive agendas, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure critical path activities are prioritized while maintaining project focus.

Qualifications

• Masters degree OR Bachelor’s with 2+ years of project management experience OR Associates with 6+ years PM experience OR High school with 8+ years PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead high-priority projects within the Site Master Plan for Thousand Oaks.
• Prepare and deliver recommendations to senior management and develop reports.
• Set agendas, run meetings, maintain project plans and timelines.
• Identify cross-functional issues and keep teams focused on critical path activities.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and escalate as needed.
