A growing renewable energy platform is seeking a Senior Associate to support the financing of its expanding distributed generation portfolio. The organization is increasing its investment in constructing & owning renewable energy assets and building its in-house project finance capabilities to support this strategy.
This is a hands‑on execution role for an experienced project finance professional who can independently advance transactions from initial structuring through closing. Reporting to the Vice President of Project Finance, the Senior Associate will work across the organization’s investment, development, legal, and management teams, serving as an important link between multiple stakeholders.
The portfolio consists of distributed solar and battery energy storage projects across several U.S. markets. The organization has a strong near‑term development pipeline and expects the portfolio to expand significantly over the coming years.
Preference will be given to candidates based in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Durham NC, Washington, DC or Scottsdale, AZ. Other locations may be considered for exceptional candidates. Periodic travel for team meetings, transaction execution, and project‑related work may be required.
The anticipated base salary range is $150,000–$180,000, with an annual target bonus of approximately 20%. Final compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience, transaction track record, location, and overall fit. Additional flexibility may be available for an exceptional candidate.
