Job summary

IQ-EQ in Dallas, TX is seeking an outsourced CFO professional to support Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds. You will liaise with auditors, administrators, HR/payroll and service providers, delivering daily operational support and handling ad-hoc financial modeling tasks.

You will review NAVs, allocations, investor statements and fee calculations to ensure accuracy; prepare fund and management company statements and advise on improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years in alternative investment management; public accounting a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in dynamic environments; self-starter, punctual and personable.
• Solid accounting and analytical abilities; proficient in MS Office; familiarity with QuickBooks, OpenAir, Bill.com, Expensify is a plus.

What you'll do

• You'll liaise with auditors, administrators, HR/payroll, and other service providers while delivering outsourced CFO services to Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds.
• You'll collaborate with team members and clients, providing daily operational support and participating in ad‑hoc projects, including financial modeling and analysis.
• You'll review NAVs, allocations, investor statements, reconciliations, expense schedules, management fee calculations, and incentive allocations to ensure accuracy.
• You'll prepare fund and management company financial statements, maintain accounting practices, research accounting principles, and advise clients on improvements.
• You'll coordinate client onboarding tasks such as opening brokerage and bank accounts, while arranging and participating in regular conference calls to support engagement.

Qualifications

• You hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, with CPA designation preferred.
• You bring 4+ years of experience in the alternative investment management industry, with public accounting experience considered a plus.
• You demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task.
• You're thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments as a hard‑working, self‑starter who is dedicated, punctual, and personable.
• You possess strong accounting and analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in QuickBooks, OpenAir, Bill.com, and Expensify as an advantage.
