Job summary
Capital One is expanding its Product Management team in Chicago, IL, seeking a Senior Associate Product Manager to translate vision into technical execution. You will partner across Business Analysts, Tech, Ops, Risk and Design to deliver transformative customer outcomes and drive modernization of core platforms and data capabilities.
You will learn and grow through leadership of cross‑functional teams in an agile environment, with emphasis on practical feature development and backlog
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
- At least 1 year of product management or related experience in product design, agile delivery, data science, or software engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer‑facing digital products.
- 1+ years working with cross‑functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process.
Responsibilities
- Define the MVP, ruthlessly prioritize the post‑migration backlog, and build airtight business cases for what your team should tackle next and why.
- Partner with Business Analysts, Tech, Ops, Risk, and Design to deliver transformative customer outcomes.
- Platform & Data Modernization: decommission legacy systems, refine next‑gen data products, and build robust data capabilities.
- Strategic Roadmapping: define the MVP, prioritize post‑migration backlog, and build airtight business cases.
