Senior Associate, Pharma Advanced Analytics

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Pharma Advanced Analytics to join our Commercial Analytics team. The Senior Associate will play a vital client-facing role in our Patient Analytics business unit by managing and conducting various patient analytics projects and engagements to drive commercial success for our top-tier pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate for this role will lead and drive successful project completion by closely collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a high-paced, high-pressure, full client-facing, and cross-functional environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient health analytics, including patient adherence & persistence analysis via APLD, by applying suitable analytical techniques (statistical and machine learning methods) to understand potential patient switches, treatment patterns, adherence, survival, and intervention program effectiveness across disease areas such as oncology, dermatology, diabetes, autoimmune, and cardiovascular.
  • Conduct control/test analysis (A/B testing).
  • Perform descriptive and predictive analytics using real-world EMR and APLD data to provide insights into patient journeys, decision-making, and health outcomes.
  • Drive business insights through KPI dashboards on patient-centric programs, providing monthly/quarterly business reviews and brand performance evaluation.
  • Participate in developing a holistic view to address specific ad hoc sales, marketing, or cross-functional questions by integrating analytics outputs from various sources.
  • Develop forecasting models (demand and patient) to support commercial strategies.
  • Support commercial leadership with ad-hoc analyses to facilitate field execution of sales and brand strategies.
  • Mentor and coach junior associates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, or a healthcare-related major (quantitative background preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in patient or healthcare commercial analytics.
  • Knowledge of pharma data sources such as IMS Rx and Claims, Symphony Rx, MMIT, Fingertip Formulary, and APLD Data.
  • Experience with Brand Analytics & Promo Mix Modeling using APLD Data.
  • Proficiency in tools like SAS, Python, SQL, or R with strong statistical or programming skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, strategic planning, quality management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills, high accuracy, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
