Landing Point is seeking a Senior Associate for its Management Company team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role focuses on monthly financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support to enhance efficiency and accuracy in asset management accounting.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA license preferred.
  • 6–8 years of professional experience in asset management and/or public accounting with asset management clients is preferred.
  • High proficiency with Excel is required.
  • Understanding of Sage Intacct, SAP Concur, and IntegriData EAS software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding and application of US GAAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management company financial statements including consolidations and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations of balance sheet & income statement accounts.
  • Prepare and review management company expense allocations and billbacks to funds.
  • Coordinate and prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and auditor requests for annual financial statement audits.
  • Assist with preparing support for the annual budgeting process and quarterly management committee meetings.
  • Review daily and monthly cash reconciliations.
  • Manage T & E expense report processing and the corporate Amex program.
  • Support the treasury process, including wire processing, account setup, and user entitlements.
  • Lead initiatives to automate processes, optimize software solutions, and improve the efficiency of the Corporate Accounting function.
  • Support the Controller and other team members with various special projects.

Compensation:

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000, Plus Bonus
