Job summary

Embark is seeking a high-performing M&A Senior Associate to join our Corporate Development team. You will own financial modeling, valuation, and returns analysis, coordinate diligence across finance, legal, IT, compliance, and operations, and support target identification and deal sourcing with a detailed acquisition target database.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, you will draft LOIs and memos, analyze earnings quality, and model deal structures while collaborating with business

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of M&A experience at an investment bank, PE firm, or corporate development team.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills including three-statement forecasting and returns analysis.
  • Familiarity with the full transaction lifecycle: due diligence, negotiations, and closing mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Own financial modeling, valuation, and returns analysis.
  • Coordinate diligence workstreams across finance, legal, IT, compliance, and operations.
  • Draft LOIs, investment committee memos, deal recommendations, and board materials.
  • Coordinate target identification and deal sourcing and maintain a detailed acquisition target database.
  • Support financing workstreams and integration planning post-close.
