Job summary

Oakmont in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Investments analyst to support the investments function and build financial models for markets and opportunities. You will evaluate acquisition prospects, prepare pro forma analyses, and liaise with brokers, attorneys, and capital providers to advance transactions.

The role requires 5 years in investment analysis or related real estate underwriting, advanced Excel, and strong quantitative skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

Prior experience in investment analysis, real estate investments or senior housing underwriting.
Advanced Excel knowledge and modeling experience.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with key real estate transaction documents.
+/- 5 years of relevant experience, flexible depending on type and depth of experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a quantitative field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the company’s Investments function.

Requirements

This position is in-office Monday-Friday at Oakmont’s headquarters in Irvine, CA
Prior experience in investment analysis, real estate investments or senior housing (senior living) underwriting is required
Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
Advanced Excel knowledge and modeling experience
Firm understanding of key finance and economic principles
Prior experience working with stakeholders across real estate investments
Familiarity with key real estate transaction documents
+/- 5 years of relevant experience, flexible depending on type and depth of experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a quantitative field is preferred
