Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. seeks a Sr Associate - In Vivo to support obesity programs at the Thousand Oaks, CA site. This fully onsite role involves hands-on execution of in vivo studies and related support activities within a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will work in a highly integrated in vivo team, with clear responsibilities from study execution to data documentation, while noting this position is in vivo only with no in vitro duties.

Sr Associate - In Vivo

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Pay Rate: $23.00–$28.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

This is a fully onsite position supporting Obesity programs at the Thousand Oaks site. We are a highly integrated in vivo team, excelling at efficiency and productivity, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The new team member will be responsible for, including but not limited to, hands‑on execution of in vivo studies and a range of related study support activities.

Note: This is an in vivo position only — there will be no in vitro responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands‑on execution of in vivo studies (including ALL in‑life components)
• Team support for multiple ongoing studies/study activities
• Study data acquisition, organization, analysis, quality control
• Graphing and PP deck preparation for presentation
• Study/data documentation
• Study sample processing/inventory/tracking

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience with rodents in a preclinical research setting, including but not limited to: handling/restraint, multiple routes of dose administration, health status assessment/evaluation, necropsy, and sample prep/processing
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to also work independently

Education Requirements

• Master's degree; OR
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience; OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of experience; OR
• High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (with Bachelor's degree); minimum 4 years (with Associate's degree); or minimum 6 years (with high school diploma/GED)
• Background in preclinical in vivo research required
