Gursey | Schneider LLP in Century City seeks a Senior Associate in Forensic Accounting & Litigation Support. You will work with the Family Litigation team on high-net-worth divorce matters, analyzing financial records, valuing businesses, and tracing assets to support settlements.

You will apply CPA expertise and strong communication to prepare declarations, assist counsel, and coordinate with partners. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to sophisticated financial litigation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation required.
• California CPA license preferred.
• 2–3 years of audit, accounting, or tax experience at a top-100 firm.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Analyze financial records to ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and asset assessment.
• Trace separate property assets.
• Analyze cash flow available for child and spousal support and standard of living.
• Conduct business valuations.
• Apportion real estate and equity compensation.
• Prepare various declarations for court proceedings.
• Analyze post-separation transactions and their impact on the community estate.
• Prepare deposition questions and assist counsel.
• Assist partners in preparation for settlement conferences.
• Prepare work papers and exhibits for court hearings.
• May travel to court with the partner cases to gain experience.
• Attend and participate in settlement conferences.
