What your day‑to‑day will look like
  • Prepare and review quarterly (10‑Q) and annual (10‑K) financial statements filed with the SEC, developing comprehensive support workpapers that withstand internal and external audit scrutiny while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Lead XBRL tagging efforts for SEC filings, maintaining technical precision in financial data presentation and staying current with evolving reporting requirements
  • Execute the quarterly global balance sheet analytics process, partnering directly with global business segment leaders to analyze variances, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights into financial performance

  • Maintain and document Sarbanes‑Oxley controls, performing testing procedures and ensuring continuous compliance with internal control requirements across all assigned processes
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives on an ad‑hoc basis, bringing technical accounting expertise and process improvement thinking to cross‑functional teams
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with minimum 1‑3 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience

  • Strong command of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations, with practical application of technical accounting principles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in fast‑paced environments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience at Big Four or regional public accounting firm, with exposure to SEC registrant clients and external audit methodologies
  • Background working at one or more SEC registrants with international operations, bringing familiarity with multi‑jurisdictional reporting complexities
  • Hands‑on experience performing accounting and financial reporting disclosure research using Intelligize, Workiva, or similar technical research platforms
  • Understanding of XBRL taxonomy and tagging processes for structured financial data
  • Exposure to Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance frameworks, internal controls documentation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP platforms) and financial consolidation tools
