Senior Associate - Finance Resource Team
Fully Remote | 25% Travel

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Finance Resource Team, supporting portfolio company finance leaders in implementing finance initiatives, operational improvements, and best practices. This role requires a highly skilled finance professional with M&A experience, financial reporting expertise, and strong leadership capabilities to work closely with acquisition teams and drive financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance & Accounting Leadership
2. Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
3. Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to drive strategic decision-making.
5. Conduct variance analysis, customer/product profitability assessments, and board-level reporting.

1. M&A and Integration Support
2. Collaborate with acquisition teams to assess financial health, risks, and opportunities.
3. Support post-merger financial integration and operational consolidation.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:

• Build strong relationships with portfolio company finance teams, deal teams, and leadership.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication between teams to ensure transparency and alignment.

Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and financial performance optimization.
• Implement operational best practices, financial governance standards, and compliance frameworks.

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Develop cash flow forecasting models to predict future cash needs.
• Improve working capital management by optimizing receivables, payables, and inventory.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Former Audit Senior Associate from a regional or Big 4 firm preferred.
• CPA highly desired.
• M&A experience with financial due diligence and integration.
• Strong financial reporting, reconciliation, and forecasting skills.
• Advanced communication and leadership abilities to manage complex situations and motivate teams.
• Ability to interface with clients and build long-term stakeholder relationships.
• High attention to detail with a timeline-driven and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and financial modeling.
