KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice. Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting Tax Managers and Partners in managing client portfolios.
2. Taking responsibility for engagement planning and job administration.
3. Keeping management informed on engagement and client relationship issues.
4. Auditing tax provisions and reviewing working papers to ensure conclusions are supported and policies are met.
5. Executing compliance tasks with moderate to minimal supervision.
6. Supervising associate staff on large and complex engagements where appropriate.

Qualifications include:

1. At least three years of recent investment partnership and/or mutual fund tax experience in public accounting.
2. Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M., or MST from an accredited institution.
3. Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting procedures, and partnership tax regulations.
4. Exceptional skills in reviewing 1065 and 1120-RIC tax returns.
5. Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills.
