Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is looking for a Senior Associate in Family Law for its San Jose, CA office. This role involves managing complex, high-conflict family law cases across Northern California in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience and a proven track record in litigation. Key responsibilities include leading high-conflict cases, drafting agreements, and maintaining meticulous case documentation. Comprehensive health benefits and additional perks are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of exclusive or predominantly family law practice.
• Significant experience handling high-conflict, litigated matters.
• Proven record including, at minimum: 50+ contested hearings, 50+ marital settlement agreements, 10+ fully litigated cases.
• Meaningful experience with complex financial and asset issues.

Responsibilities

• Take primary responsibility for a complex, litigation-heavy family law caseload.
• Lead high-conflict cases from initial strategy through trial or resolution.
• Litigate matters involving complex asset division, support disputes, and contested custody issues.
• Appear regularly in court and deliver polished, persuasive advocacy.
• Draft and negotiate sophisticated marital settlement agreements.
• Strategically prepare clients, experts, and witnesses for hearings and trial.
• Supervise paralegals and ensure all pleadings and filings meet exacting standards.
• Maintain meticulous case documentation in CLIO.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and client advocacy.
